there was a girl who had the most amazing mom, she could sew ANYTHING, crochet, draw, paint, write and even make beautiful cakes.
Yes that girl is me..... My mom could seriously make anything you could dream up. I dont think I ever had a store bought halloween costume or birthday cake...She made beautiful blankets and for my 1st prom I wanted the dress the mice made for cinderella..... guess what... I got it! She tried to teach me everything. HAHAHAHAHA Not happening, I almost failed highschool because I could not pass Home Ec. I had to sneak out my sewing project for her to fix and then sneak it back. I am NO writer and cant draw a stick figure. (Idid learn to cook but that is it)
When my mom passed away 12 years ago I thought that was the end of everything, then 2 years ago my daughter was born. I set out to teach myself to sew, became obssessed with food network and decided I would try my hand at cakes. so here we go.......
This blog is dedicated to my mom..... I am sure she has had more than a few laughs at the things I have tried to do.
